Friend: (friend) n. [ME. freond] 1. An ally, supporter, or sympathizer 2. One of the group of generous individuals who contribute to MidAmerica Region; as in: "become a Friend of the Region by making a contribution and making a difference in the strength and vitality of Unitarian Universalism in the Midwest."

Achieving success
UU congregations in the Midwest have thrived with the help of Central Midwest, Heartland and Prairie Star Districts. Now those three districts have combined to become MidAmerica Region. People are attracted to healthy, vital congregations that offer vibrant Sunday services, programming for people of all ages, and outreach to their communities. MidAmerica provides a variety of consulting services to all our congregations, large and small, to help them meet their challenges. Your contribution to Friends of MidAmerica can help us serve our congregations better.

Working together

Working together we can make a difference. Your gift to Friends of MidAmerica Region will help fund programs aimed at

  • Having healthy, vital congregations in the Region
  • Increasing the number of individual UUs and UU congregations in the Region
  • Promoting interconnectedness among UU congregations and organizations

"I firmly believe the world would be a better place if we had more UUs in it," says Nancy Heege, Congregational Life Consultant. You may think so, too. Please consider making a commitment to ensure a thriving UU presence in the Midwest by choosing a gift that reflects your appreciation for what the Region offers your congregation. Thank you for your commitment to our religious faith.
